Ben Pearson is a filmmaker from West Yorkshire, specialising in sound design, directorial practice, screenwriting and editing. His filmmaking journey began at a young age; having worked on several personal projects before developing his skills at college and university, Ben quickly mastered his niche interest in sound design and applied his knowledge to the creation of several thought-provoking, emotive stories. Ben’s Stigma trilogy (Fine 2018, Losing Hope 2020 and Fragments (2021) was the result of a desire to expand his skill set, seeing him take on the roles of screenwriter, director and editor as well as his usual position of sound designer. He is a key team member at Bingley Little Theatre (BLT), where he has trained as a sound engineer and operator for 7 years, and currently works as a freelance practitioner. As of Spring 2022, Ben is producing, directing, screenwriting and designing sound for his next short film titled Three Paintings on a Wall.
